The Pension Service has been formally established as administrator of the Network Pension Scheme and today launches its official website at pensions.gov.vin, where the scheme rules, contribution rates and retirement procedure are published.

The rules of the Network Pension Scheme are published today, together with five member contribution tiers ranging from 5.0 to 10.5 per cent of pensionable pay and an employer contribution of 19.5 per cent.

Members may apply to retire from today. The Service has published the six steps from estimate to first payment, the early and late retirement factors, and the timetable for pension payments.

About the Pension Service
The Pension Service of the Velocity Interoperability Network administers the Network Pension Scheme, the single pension scheme for the staff of member organisations of the Velocity Interoperability Network.
It keeps the record of every member, collects contributions from participating member organisations, calculates and pays pensions and other benefits, and reports on the membership and funding of the scheme.
